June 30, 11 pm - From the Valdez ferry terminal across the bay, we see the Valdez oil terminal, south terminus of the Trans-Alaska pipeline. Lots of wildlife here as well, birds, fish, seal. This is very near where the Exxon Valdez ran aground causing the disasterous oil spill in Prince William Sound. We see many oil reservoir tanks on the mountainside at the left, and ocean going oil tankers loading at the far right.
