HEATER VALVE, Replacement Not As Original - HR-107A
but it works okay as long as you don't mind the appearance.

The fittings are yellow plated, rather than the silver of the originals. The screw that holds the clamp for the water control cable is held by a weld nut in the original but the replacement has only a thread cut into the plate (probably satisfactory as long as you don't disturb it too often).

The other interesting observation is that the date on the original body is 2/1960 which means the valve must have been replace under warranty (build date for the car is 3/59). I've had the original cover re-plated and have swapped it onto the new body. -- Mark
